For Maranatha Chapel, I had the opportunity to design for two meaningful projects: their 40th anniversary and the Discipled series.
For the anniversary, I wanted the design to feel nostalgic and personal. I hand-drew Tower 32 (where they've held summer baptisms for decades) with an ordinary ink pen to give it a raw, human element. That illustration became the centerpiece of the branding, extending to t-shirts that were so well received it required a second run. Even better, proceeds went toward building homes for those in need.
With Discipled, a multi-part teaching series, I created a cohesive visual identity through hand-drawn icons, screen designs, and illustrations—many of which were brought to life by the media team through animation. To keep everything consistent, I built mini style guides for both projects, giving the media team the tools to carry the branding across all platforms.
